Are men better than women?

It is a fact that women do achieve better grades academically than men do. This should imply that they will go onto more success than that of men. However, as I'm sure you're all aware, this is not the case. This rises the question that perhaps even in a modern era of equal oppurtunity, we still do not treat both genders equally. I believe this is perhaps because men and more physically imposing than females, and regardless of what we may say, this will make for a more intimidating leader. What are you thoughts bloggers?
